  15. This little util should be used on startup time. It will wait
  16. until all devices are validated by letting only one device for
  17. validation at the same time. Therefore it prevents the noise and
  18. slowdown. If validation error appears then filerequester (ASL)
  19. will be opened to choose Your salvage program (for instance
  20. AmiBackTools). Of course it will be executed, so you can repair
  21. the partition. There is one exception - if bug requester appears
  22. before VAL is executed then this feature fails and user has to
  23. reboot and boot without startup-sequence to run his salvager by
  24. hand... :-(

  26. Please remember that this program has no use when you have working
  27. reset handler logic (lucky - use DiskSafe.lha instead then). Also
  28. users of non-validating filesystems shouldn't be so silly to install
  29. this tool as it is useless in their case.

  31. This program is also useless against incredible and extremely
  32. seldom bugs like damaged filesystem, damaged driveinit code and
  33. other almost impossible things :-(
